To Whom It May Concern:
This letter of recommendation is written in support of Mr. Dillon Henry for entry into Honors Spanish.
MY experience teaching, coupled with my collaboration throughout the year with Dillon, allows me to write a letter of recommendation that not only endorses my support for him as a candidate but also allows me to express my impression of his Spanish skills and abilities.
First and foremost, Dillon’s relationship with his fellow classmates and teachers is tremendous. His professionalism and optimistic attitude to advance his learning and contribute to a positive work environment reflect a strong drive and work ethic. His encouraging and welcoming attitude gives the classroom a feeling of comfort and growth, while a tone of mutual respect is always present. His attention to his individual needs as a student and those around him is compassionate and detailed. What especially impresses me is his desire and passion to learn the Spanish language and his acceptance of other cultures and perspectives.
Dillon possesses the attitude, drive and passion of a devoted student and learner in every sense. His sincere dedication and love for learning makes him a valuable member of any classroom, especially a language classroom. His eagerness to learn and equal drive to better himself academically and emotionally makes Dillon a superb candidate for entry into an Honors Spanish classroom. I feel Dillon has demonstrated the potential to be an outstanding honors student.
Dillon received an “Exceeds” in Spanish this year, which is not only the highest evaluation given, but also the most coveted as it reflects a learner that is well rounded academically, socially and emotionally. Dillon will be missed next year in class and to our school in general, but he brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to any of his future classrooms. He will be an asset in your Honors Spanish classroom.
I hope that you will contact me personally should you have any questions or concerns regarding Dillon’s academic or professional potential.
Sincerely,
Courtlyn Wymbs
