The past week, I've spent time online reading articles about Dillon. Each piece has shared a common thread, in that they all describe Dillon’s infectious personality, charisma, and passion for giving, living, loving, and learning. And, yesterday I had the opportunity to meet Dillon’s remarkable family. I quickly discovered one of the sources from which Dillon’s generosity and engaging character came. Harriet, Steve, and Taylor—It is apparent to me that your son and brother was the type of individual everybody looks for in a friend. His character, alone, explains why he touched so many. I’m thankful that even at this later stage, he’s touched and inspired me. Thank you.

The web site "baddies" have somehow eliminated several Connections that were made after July 6...not sure why and we are sorrry if it was one of your writings. As always, it is important to Dillon's family and friends to stay connected through the web site and other interactions, so we may continue to share our thoughts, emotions and activities. Thinking of you all and hope your summer is filled with wonderful experiences and joy.

As I think about the adventures that Taylor and I are about to have, I know that Dillon will be with us every step of the way, smiling and watching over us. Dillon: I love you, I miss you, and I always will.

Today Dillon comes to the forefront of our thoughts even more so than normally. It is a day when his bright smile shines ever luminescent in our hearts and minds. It is a day when, yes we are sad, but also amazed at the influence Dilon continues to have upon all of us. His infectious laughter and love of life reverberates in the air. We are all better for his having been a part of our lives and his spirit contiues to be a source of joy in our every day. The continued outporing of love to Harriet, Steve and Taylor is a further testimony to who Dillon was. We all miss him terribly but he continues to live in our actions and efforts to help one another and the world at large. May the surf be extra special today so all enjoying, it as did Dillon, have a peacful and sunny day. With my love as always, Uncle Alan

Three years. How insane is this? Sometimes it feels like yesterday. And yet it also feels like a lifetime. I just re-read some of Dillon's writings on this web site. His wisdom is truly extraordinary. It makes me miss him even more. Sending my love to Harriet, Steve and Taylor.
